PM-1600F Series™ Imaging Photometer and Colorimeter

The PM-1600F imaging photometer and colorimeter provides extremely high dynamic range, as well as superior accuracy and repeatability, enabling it to tackle the most demanding measurement tasks. The ability of this system to measure very large levels of contrast within a single image make it particularly well suited for applications such as testing forward lighting of automobile headlamps, or determining image contrast in very high end projection systems. Since the CCDs used in the PM-1600F series are full-frame CCDs (no gaps between the pixels), they are ideally suited for finding small defects, including pixel defects in a display, or measuring small features such as the brightness and color of LED or OLED pixels.

Low noise floor and stability in the PM-1600F are achieved through the use of a 16-bit, double-stage, thermoelectrically cooled, scientific grade CCD. Two product versions are available. The first offers luminance only whereas the second utilizes CIE matched filters to permit both luminance and chrominance measurements. These color capabilities enable the system to deliver CIE chromaticity coordinates or color temperature measurements from every pixel in the image. A choice of lenses is available for use with either model.

Our new F-Series Imaging Photometers and Colorimeters carry a Two Year Hardware Warranty. They are designed to deliver the functionality, performance and reliability characteristics well matched for demanding research and production environments.  The F-Series models provide enhanced performance, improved reliability, easier maintenance and faster delivery to our customers.  All F-Series cameras are cooled and include motorized filter wheels and Radiant Imaging’s novel internal shutter.
